- R* [! p) u/ k" P' i$ g8 dYou will receive a rebate if you paid Basic Autopac premiums for your 2009/10 insurance year. This is for policies that were started between March 1, 2009 and February 28, 2010.

. L& x4 P9 c! r% f. ^ * Your rebate will equal 45 per cent of the Basic Autopac premium you paid for your 2009/10 insurance year. It excludes any premiums you paid for optional Autopac like lower deductibles, higher third party limits, or Auto Loss of Use among others./ m0 n% {7 K# t/ ]" U! f3 u
* Your rebate is based on the net premium you paid. It's calculated after any credits or refunds have been applied. It excludes any administration or registration fees, or interest you paid to finance your premium.6 f4 b) |- r$ e- b7 u

Why this rebate is being provided
' l R' N' U& H0 I) y3 a
; T! A8 A/ z* U# h) k. ~The unprecedented $320 million rebate is the result of the annual actuarial review of the Corporation’s claims reserves by the external appointed actuary. The Public Utilities Board, under Order 43/11, ordered this rebate at the first opportunity to be returned to ratepayers.
